IT: Software Development - Level 3 Extended Diploma

This course develops the knowledge, understanding and skills you'll need to follow your career pathway in Information Technology.You will work closely with employers, Founders and Coders, charities such as Local Village network, and Yonder who are integrated into the assessment process, giving you the essential skills to get you ready for the world of work, higher education, apprenticeships, and internships.You will be taught, social media, programming, mobile app development, coding, computer games development, and cyber security.Within the IT programme, we offer core maths, and an opportunity to be part of our Coding club and can obtain an additional qualification.

You will need:Five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English Language and Maths or an equivalent Level 2 qualification at Merit (and Functional Skills in English and Maths at Level 2/GCSE English Language and Maths at grade 4 or above)A reference from your previous school/collegeAll applicants must have an interview to confirm that the course is suitable for them.
